Natural, seemingly lit-from-within glow that is.
I am not a big fan of blinding metallic highlights as that kind of "glow" can easily look like an oil slick on my face (#firstworldproblems). So I prefer the more subtle highlighters that do not look too much or too trying-hard. Here are some of my current favorites:
RMS BEAUTY Master Mixer
The most subtle one among the three, this was my first cream highlighter. Well it's marketed as a mixer that you can combine with other makeup products but personally, I use it as a subtle highlight. This is perfect for hot-weather countries (i.e. the Philippines) since it doesn't look oily on the face. It looks very natural and as friends and family have commented while I was wearing this, you will just look "blooming"!
WANDER BEAUTY Catch the Light Highlighter in Sun
Super portable, travel-friendly, highlight-on-the-go. This one lives in my handbag. The stick packaging makes it the easiest to apply, you don't even need a mirror anymore. If you haven't heard of this brand yet, I highly recommend this from the line.
RMS BEAUTY Living Luminizer
I succumbed to the hype. I blame Gisele Bundchen. This is perfect for winter/cold-weather highlighting. Go for the Master Mixer if you want a little bit of warmth but if you want luminescence, this is the one.
